Role of reflections in the generation of a time delay in strong-field ionization

The problem of time delay in tunneling ionization is revisited. origin at the tunnel exit analysed, underlining two faces concept tunnelling delay: around and asymptotic a detector. We show that former delay, sense peak wavefunction, exists as matter principle arises due to sub-barrier interference reflected transmitted components electronic wavepacket. exemplify this by describing an electron bound short-range potential within strong field approximation "deep tunnelling" regime. If reflections are extracted from then shown vanish. Thus, we assert disturbance wavepacket reflection surface barrier causes neighbourhood exit.
